Connection of the Station via GSM
The Sokol-M1 station can be connected and configured using a PC with the SokolCFG configurator, or a smartphone with the Sokol app for Android or iOS.
Connection and Configuration via the Sokol Mobile App
You can receive data and operate the Sokol-M1 weather station using the Sokol mobile application. Using the app you can:
- configure the station,
- receive current meteorological data from your weather station,
- receive reports for a selected period.
Connecting to the Station
Download links: Sokol for Android, Sokol for iOS.
To connect to the station via Bluetooth, launch the application and select Connect Weather Station.
Then press Connect in the row with the corresponding station.
After successful connection you can:
- view current readings,
- export black box data,
- configure the weather station.
Online Data in the Sokol App
To view current data via Bluetooth, connect to the station and press Online Data.
Enter the password. Default password: 222.
After connecting, in the Weather Data tab you will see current sensor readings. In the Status tab, service sensor readings are displayed.
Special attention should be paid to the parameters:
Azimuth, Tilt - these should be close to 0 (or 90 depending on firmware).
GSM Status and signal strength - these parameters help determine why there is no data from the station on the server.
A negative GSM signal strength means the message cannot be sent.
In the Additional Devices tab you can find readings from additional sensors such as:
- soil moisture sensor,
- snow depth sensor, etc.
Configurator. Data Transmission Setup.
In the application you can configure the station. To do this, connect via Bluetooth and select Configurator.
There are three tabs available in the Configurator section. On the “Data Transmission” tab, you can change:
- GSM settings
- Server settings
- Data transmission interval to server
- Exchange interval with BMVD
- Send test message to server
By default, the station is already configured to work with Natlogger or Sokolmeteo servers. Operator APN settings can be found via any search engine - simply enter operator name + APN. Set the transmission channel to GSM.
Important: In most cases, APN settings are stored on the SIM card itself, so the station usually receives them automatically when reading the SIM card. SIM cards with static white IP addresses (a practice common in corporate mobile service) deserve special attention. The APN for such SIM cards may differ from the publicly available ones and may require manual entry. You can only obtain the APN settings from your system administrator or the person responsible for corporate communications in your organization.
If DNS does not work correctly, enter server IP manually:
- Sokolmeteo.com → 185.27.193.112
- Natlogger.com → 178.154.206.133
After entering settings press Save.

Login Steps:
- In the main menu of the application, select Sokolmeteo.com
- Enter your login and password. If you are not registered, please register on the Sokolmeteo server.
After successful authorization, you will see a list of available stations. If you do not see your station in the list, please contact your manager or Sokol technical support to grant your account access to the station.
You can also add a new station directly in the app. To do this, go to the Sokolmeteo.com section in the app's main menu.
Press “” and enter:
- Station name
- IMEI
- Password (the default password in the station settings for sending data is 2211)
- Press Add Device
You can open the data for the available station. To do this, go to the Sokolmeteo.com and tap it in the list of available stations.
This will open information about its readings.
The station transmits data at a specified interval. The default interval is 30 minutes. The online data shows information from the last message. If for some reason the message was not transmitted, the online data will not show the weather station readings. This most often occurs due to a weak GSM signal or a dead battery.
To ensure that the station transmits data reliably, monitor its readings, especially the RSSI and Voltage parameters.
RSSI is the GSM signal level. A signal level of 27-31 is considered good. At lower values, data may be missing periodically. In this case, you should change your mobile operator, install a reinforced antenna, or use another method of data transmission.
Voltage is the voltage of the internal battery. At values below 3.8V, the power of the GSM antenna may decrease. Therefore, it is important to charge the station from an external power source when the internal battery voltage drops.
Sokolmeteo Forecast
In the app, you can always check the forecast for the next three days. The forecast shows:
- Temperature (minimum and maximum per day)
- Daily precipitation
- Wind speed and direction
- Atmospheric pressure
- Air humidity
To view the forecast, open the station readings and select Forecast at the top of the list.
Attention! The forecast will only be available if the Weather forecast function is enabled in the station settings on the sokolmeteo.com server.
Reports from Sokolmeteo Server
In the application, you can obtain a summary report on the weather station's performance, which will display all the data it has transmitted for the selected period.
To get a report from the sokolmeteo.com server, follow these steps:
- Go to the station's current weather data
- Click on the icon in the upper right corner
- Select a interval
- Click “Generate report”
To view the report, follow these steps:
- Go to current weather data
- Go to reports (upper right corner)
- After opening the new screen, click on the same icon in the upper right corner again
- Select the file from the available ones and click Share
- Send the file in a convenient way and open the received file on your computer.

After selecting and clicking on the station you need, you will be taken to the online data page for that station. There you can check the latest data on the last message sent and, by scrolling down, determine the geolocation of the device on the map.

After selecting the monitoring section, you can go to the public and private device tabs.
The public devices tab shows all devices on the platform that are set up as public.
The private devices tab shows the stations that you are part of.

Снятие и чтение логов GSM
Снятие логов GSM позволяет провести анализ подключения станции к сети и отследить этапы, на которых происходит тот или иной сбой.
При помощи снятия логов вы можете:
1) Отследить, на каком этапе происходит сбой в подключении
2) Сократить время диагностики и решения проблемы

Подключение и настройка через ПК-конфигуратор
Для подключения станции по GSM, прежде всего убедитесь, что в месте, где проводится подключение есть связь 2G. Проверьте работоспособность SIM-карты в телефоне. Убедитесь, что подключение к интернету с данной сим-картой возможно.
- После этого вставьте SIM-карту в слот, направив контакты к центру станции и убедившись что вы услышали щелчок.
- Угловой срез SIM-карты должен смотреть вниз.

Светодиод на станции должен заморгать очень часто - 5 раз в секунду. Это значит, что станция устанавливает время по GPS. Если время не получится установить, то при попытке подключения светодиод будет мигать 1 раз в 2 секунды.

В конфигураторе для ПК нужно открыть вкладку «Сервер». Здесь нужно указать настройки APN вашего мобильного оператора. Их можно найти с помощью любого поисковика. Просто вбейте название оператора и APN.

Поменять можно периодичность отправки данных от одного раза в 10 минут до одного раза в 59 минут.
Пароль доступа к устройству нужен для того, чтобы сервер принял данные от правильной станции. Этот пароль должен совпадать с тем, который будет указан в настройках устройства при регистрации метеостанции на сервере.
Обязательно убедитесь, что справа выбран вариант GSM.

После того как вы все настроили, статус GSM во вкладке «Состояние» должен изменяться от 0 до 25 каждый раз, когда станция пытается связаться с сервером, т.е. например каждые 10 минут. Делать она это будет в соответствие с тем периодом отправки данных, которые вы задали во вкладке «Сервер».

Чтобы убедиться, что сообщения передаются на сервер, откройте на сайте Sokolmeteo или Natlogger (в зависимости от используемого сервера).
Ниже будет представлена инструкция по регистрации станции Сокол-М1 на серверах Sokolmeteo и Natlogger.
В случае c Sokolmeteo откройте вкладку «Сообщения» и вписав название станции во вкладке «Все устройства», проверьте, есть ли там какие-либо данные.

После на указанный Вами email адрес поступит письмо, в котором будет указан код для подтверждения аккаунта. Необходимо ввести код в соответствующее поле, после чего Ваш аккаунт будет подтвержден и активирован.
После успешного подтверждения аккаунта произойдет автоматический вход.

Если пользователь находится в своей команде (та, которую он создал сам, либо та которая создалась автоматически при регистрации), то откроется профиль с правами на редактирование. Если в команду, в которую пользователя добавил другой участник команды, то возможности зависят от уровня предоставленных прав.
Возможности настройки команды:
- Участники - список участников команды. Пользователь с правами на редактирование может добавить, отредактировать, удалить участников.

Описание разделов Natlogger
Раздел «Мониторинг» - это географическая карта с отображением объектов мониторинга, доступных команде, в которой в данный момент находится пользователь, либо выбранной им команде. По умолчанию пользователь состоит в команде, автоматически созданной при регистрации аккаунта.
В даном разделе также можно отфильтровать устройства на географической карте по следующим фильтрам:
1) - Все доступные устройства для выбранной команды
2) - Публичный/частные
- Онлайн/офлайн

При нажатии на маркер открывается доп. окно с информацией об объекте.
Здесь, в окне с информацией об объекте, перед названием находится индикатор активности устройства, то есть в сети оно (зеленый индикатор), или нет (красный индикатор).
В окне с доп. информацией вы сможете узнать:
1) Актуальные значения параметров устройств.
2) Прогноз по значениям параметров, который ожидается через 12 часов.

Раздел “Рабочий стол” - основной раздел для визуализации данных, поступающих от устройств, также позволяет создавать собственные виджеты/отчеты .
Раздел имеет 3 основные группы:
Метеомониторинг - раздел предназначенный для добавления или выбора устройств/виджетов, занимающихся мониторингом погодных параметров (температура, влажность, давление) типа Сокол-М1, Сокол-К1

При первом переходе в рабочий стол (группы метеомониторинг и экомониторинг) и в дальнейшем, если виджеты не открыты, пользователю будет предложено выбрать устройство для просмотра шаблонов параметров (виджетов).
В левой части экрана вы увидите настройки поиска станции. Среди них будут следующие строки:
1) Устройства - здесь вы сможете настроить фильтрацию станций по командам, в которых вы находитесь. Команду можно выбрать из всплывающего списка, либо набрав ее название в поисковой строке.
2) Публичные - настройка для визуализации данных от устройств, доступных для всех пользователей платформой.
Частные - настройка для визуализации данных от устройств, доступных только для пользователей определенной команды, к которой относится это устройство.

В разделел "Рабочий стол" пользователь может построить виджет с параметрами устройства. Для каждого типа устройств есть стандартные шаблоны виджетов, а также возможность создать свой индивидуальный виджет.

Описание интерфейса виджета:
1) Нажав на данную кнопку, вы можете выгрузить отчет в нужном вам формате за выбранный период времени
2) Нажав на данную кнопку, вы можете включить автообновление показаний устройства, а также включить прогноз (в случае с метеомониторингом). Внимание: прогноз будет отображаться только в том случае, если в настройках самого устройства будет отмечен пункт "Загружать прогноз"
3) Нажав на данную кнопку, вы можете открыть окно виджета на полный экран
4) Нажав на данную кнопку, вы можете удалить выбранное окно виджета
5) Здесь вы можете выбрать необходимый период времени для составления показаний устройства
6) Здесь вы можете добавить отфильтровать необходимые параметры устройств
7) Трек выбранного диапазона. При помощи него можно выбрать необходимый интервал за выбранный период.
8) Переключение отображения виджета. График/таблица.

Добавление устройства представляет из себя пошаговый алгоритм действий: - Заполните поля (номер телефона заполнять не обязательно):
1) Имя станции
2) Тип устройства (Сокол-М)
3) IMEI станции
4) Пароль. Он должен совпадать с паролем, который указан в настройках сервера станции.
Ниже представленны дополнительные настройки:
1) Настройка "Активен" может быть отключена, так как на данный момент не несет какой либо функции.
2) Добавление устройства в "Публичный список" , позволяющий просматривать данные для всех пользователей.
